Belle Constantino & Tim Constantino co-founded the company in 2019 around a single product, Hospital Loan. Back in December of 2018, Belle made the decision to retire from her banking role in Manila and relocate to Guam at the request of her husband, Ted Constantino. It was not until January of 2019 when her son, Tim, asked about the specifics of her job and its operational processes. Following an extensive conversation, Tim successfully convinced Belle to remain in Manila and embark upon the establishment of their loan enterprise, SLC. With established work arrangements in Guam facilitated by Ted, a contrasting decision arose for Belle, as to whether to pursue employment in Guam or launch a business in Manila. To persuade his mother, Tim undertook the arduous task of developing all aspects of the business from the very foundation. He meticulously constructed the company name, devised an effective branding strategy, implemented streamlined operational processes, designed a website, formulated efficient systems, and innovated two supplementary products, namely Instant Cash and Cash Assist. All guided by the knowledge he gained from his mother and a little innovative input. In due course, Belle placed her trust in the initiative and they collaborated to achieve a common objective, which was to make it work. The commencement of operations for Tim and Belle was not without its challenges during the first half of 2019, as they experienced a lack of assistance from others. Notwithstanding this obstacle, Tim's confidence in the potential of the business and his faith in his mother's abilities led him to promise his mom that even if they were operating with a mere two-person team, they would persevere. After several months, a group of individuals developed a sense of trust and faith in the company.
